Coleman 52 Quart Xtreme 5 Cooler
Coleman's 52 quart Xtreme 5 cooler is an affordable classic for car campers wanting several days of ice on a small budget.
Price range: $$ (Mid-range)
What we liked
- + Xtreme 5 insulation is designed to keep ice across several days
- + 52 quart size holds a weekend of food for a family
- + Very low price makes it a smart backup or drinks cooler
Trade-offs
- - Plastic hinges and latches are less robust than premium coolers
- - Ice retention falls short of rotomolded coolers in hot sun
