LifeStraw Personal Water Filter
LifeStraw Personal Water Filter is a simple, very affordable straw filter for emergency drinking straight from a water source.
Price range: $ (Budget)
What we liked
- + Extremely light straw lives in a glovebox or first-aid kit
- + No moving parts, batteries or pumping to go wrong
- + Very low price makes it an easy emergency backup
Trade-offs
- - You must drink directly from the source, so it cannot fill pots or bottles
- - Not practical for supplying cooking water to a camp
