What we liked
- + 16 quart size fits drinks and a day or two of food for one or two people
- + Runs on 12V car power, so no more buying ice and draining melt water
- + Compact shape tucks behind a seat or on a passenger floor
Trade-offs
- - Small capacity fills quickly on longer or family camping trips
- - Budget build is less rugged than premium brands on rough roads
