MSR PocketRocket Deluxe Ultralight Backpacking Stove
MSR PocketRocket Deluxe is an ultralight backpacking stove with a pressure regulator for steady flames in cold or low-fuel conditions.
Price range: $$ (Mid-range)
What we liked
- + Pressure regulator keeps output steady as the canister empties
- + Push-start igniter lights without matches or a lighter
- + Ultralight size fits in a mug or small cook pot
Trade-offs
- - Small pot supports are unstable for large car camping pans
- - Canister-top design is more exposed to wind than enclosed systems
