SimPure Gravity Water Filter Portable Gravity-Fed Purifier 3L
SimPure's portable gravity-fed purifier with a 3L bag is a low-cost hands-free filter for car campers treating lake or creek water.
Price range: $ (Budget)
What we liked
- + 3L gravity bag filters water while you set up the rest of camp
- + Very low price compared with brand-name gravity systems
- + No pumping needed, which suits kids and groups sharing water
Trade-offs
- - Budget brand has less track record for long-term filter life
- - Slow flow if the filter clogs with silty water, so pre-strain muddy sources
