What we liked
- + 3 inches of foam with a listed R-value of 5+ gives solid ground insulation for a budget pad
- + Valve design lets the foam pad inflate on its own in seconds, with no pump to carry
- + 75D polyester outer layer with a PVC coating listed for higher abrasion resistance
Trade-offs
- - Only 20 inches wide, which is narrow for a car camping pad and tight for broad shoulders
- - Short spec-only listing: no packed size is given and no pillow or stuff sack is mentioned
