EF ECOFLOW RIVER 2 is a 256Wh portable solar generator, an affordable quiet power source for weekend device charging.
Price range: $$$ (Premium)
What we liked
- + Low price makes it an easy first power station for new campers
- + Light, compact unit is easy to move between car and tent
- + EcoFlow fast charging refills it quickly from a wall outlet
Trade-offs
- - 256Wh is too small to replace a generator for real appliance loads
- - Solar panel is sold separately, so off-grid charging costs more
